What or Who is a Green Deal Provider.
Broadly described as a company or organisation that has a primary function within the Green Deal Scheme. They enable the work to be implemented or carried out for clients, with their main roles being:
- Based on the recommend action from qualified assessor they can offer green deal plans to consumers.
- Supply financing deals to cover the cost of home improvement measures, such as the cost of conservatories
- Enter into a contract with consumers for the installation of any Green Deal measures which are to be installed by properly authorised installer.
- Act as the counter-signatory for Green Deal Plans / CCA (consumer credit act) agreement.
